  • JUMP math has not responded after numerous attempts to  contact; unfortunately we will not be able to proceed with  programming for this year
  • Event must involve parent engagement and be on school  property

Student Achievement (Oral French/Math Focus)

 Other Notes 

  • Tree Top Trekking has new waiver that board will not approve;  they have decided they will use YRDSB waiver instead 

Looking at having Glen Marais perform song at 100th anniversary; this will be held in May 2027

Logo Contest (Jessica)
  • 6 entries; need to narrow down to 3
  • Will ask will ask submitters to do some edits on entries before  the choices are given to students
  • Throughout May, students will be able to see the choices and  be able to vote; winner will be announced at spring BBQ
  • School colours are blue, green, and white; some entries are in  black and white; will present students with all colour options
  • Council Choices: Entries 1, 3, 6; Jessica will reach out to  submitters to see if they can do some edits and provide files  in proper format 
 Jessica  will contact select  logo submitters to  request edits. 
Principal Report - Parking Lot (Jessica)
  • Exiting parking lot - must exit from the appropriate place
  • Using kiss n ride - must not park and get out of vehicle
  • Picking up - must park in a spot if they need to get out
  • Could repaint markings on ground

Miscellaneous
  • Playground was repaired but there is a lot of water; cannot be  used at this time
  • 392 students registered for next year; every classroom will be  full and both portables will be used
  • 90 tickets purchased for soccer game; lottery system used to  choose students
  • Lacrosse is starting soon
  • Badminton and soccer are not sanctioned supports; funding  has to come from the school to pay for teachers to go on trips; board sanctions sports that are most common
